Woodlands Breakfast Club
At Woodlands we provide a Breakfast club which is open to all our pupils from reception through to year 6. The charges for this service are £5 per day for all children attending which must be paid in advance/on the day.

Children are provided with cereals, milk, fruit, toast and juice and will be able to use equipment while supervised. Breakfast Club is held in the Junior Hall from 8am to 8:50am; although no breakfast will be served to children arriving after 8.25am.

If you would like your child to attend Breakfast Club you will need to contact the school office to request a space.  Spaces are limited to 20 and are allocated on a first-come first-serve basis.  If there are no spaces immediately available you can request to be placed on the waiting list."

Rise and Shine
Rise and Shine is a breakfast club offered to children from 8.00 each morning Monday to Friday. Rise and Shine is an opportunity for children to have a healthy breakfast together whilst getting support for homework tasks including reading and topic work. There are games and art resources for the children to use once they have completed their work.
The club allows them to feel safe, settled and valued. The staff also give the children the opportunity to discuss and resolve any concerns they may have, this is to ensure a safe, settled start to the day. By ensuring the children’s health and wellbeing are our top priority, the children are ready for school to focus on learning and able to reach their full potential once they are in school.
